The hotel is conveniently located for exploring Yosemite and Mono Lake, with friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere for relaxation. However, the rooms facing the main road can be noisy and a bit dark, and the dining prices are steep despite being average.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are spacious but facing the main road, resulting in some noise from traffic. They have glass sliding doors with a tricky lock and are slightly dark overall.
Service
9.0
The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially when we needed to extend our check-in time due to traffic delays.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is perfect for visiting Yosemite and Mono Lake, with convenient dining options across the street and a quiet atmosphere for relaxation.
Dining
5.0
Despite being expensive, the dining options are overpriced for what is essentially an older motel, making it a less appealing choice.
Facilities
The hotel offers basic facilities with no standout features, and the high prices for dining and rooms do not match the overall value provided.

6.0/10

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was right across from the restaurants in Lee Vining, which was convenient, but the rooms were disappointing as they faced a busy main road with heavy traffic noise even at night. Remember to keep doors and windows closed after sunset to minimize the noise. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring Tioga Pass and accessing Yosemite, with gorgeous views over Mono Lake and easy access to Route 395 and Route 120. Although the initial room rate advertised seemed reasonable at $129, be mindful of potential drawbacks like the noise levels.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were very poor and dated, facing the main road with heavy traffic noise even at night. Remember to keep doors and windows closed after sunset.
Service
7.0
The service was friendly and helpful, with suggestions for dining options like the Epic Cafe, but at times, the staff seemed more focused on their computer screens than on guest interactions.
Location
8.0
The location was perfect for accessing Tioga Pass and exploring Yosemite, with a grocery store and restaurant just across the street. The hotel's views over Mono Lake were stunning, but it felt like a quiet spot in Lee Vining, a one-horse town.
Dining
5.0
Although the hotel's dining options were limited and overpriced, Nicely's across the street was a better choice for meals. The dining area had access to a balcony but faced noise from the highway; the small, square hamburgers were a highlight.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were basic but functional, offering a decent place to stay with necessary amenities. However, the pricing seemed higher considering the dated nature of the motel.

6.2/10

The hotel rooms were spacious but had thin walls and uncomfortable beds. The smell of smoke lingered despite being a non-smoking environment. Conveniently located right off the street.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were roomy but felt dark. The stairs leading to the hotel room were a bit inconvenient. The scent of smoke was present even in designated non-smoking areas.
Service
8.0
The service was very helpful and accommodating. They provided guidance and assistance when needed. The price seemed justified given the location and views.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was lovely, near the park entrance with beautiful views of Mono Lake. Conveniently situated close to Yosemite and other attractions.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was simple and overpriced, with limited options for breakfast.
Facilities
5.0
However, it seems that the offerings were basic and nothing exceptional was highlighted in particular.
